Thrill Seekers Rejoice: Film Wild Adventures with GoPro
This is the 1st blog of 4 parts in a fictitious campaign created in Content-Strateg-Design-Marketing class for Full Sail university.
Hi, I'm Randy Crain and I love adventure and anything outdoors as you can see by the picture. I am in the Digital Marketing degree program, and one of the main focuses is on making content. I chose the company GoPro for this blogpost for a couple reasons.
Since 2002, GoPro is has become one of the top companies in the world, in the action camera category.
Working with a quality camera is important. Having content created that captures the attention of your audience it vital to your business. You only have a short time frame to do this in. As a consumer watching videos, having clear, crisp, images and audio, helps make the experience more enjoyable.
GoPro is also known for making quality products at an affordable price.
I was amazed with the amount of technical detail that is provided allowing a consumer to compare the different products within their brand. With the compare feature, it allows you to place cameras side by side, viewing their pricing, overview of camera specifications, and their detail. Knowing that a consumer can purchase an action camera of such quality, that could be usable in an action film for under $500 is impressive.
Conclusion:
I have created content in most of my classes at Full Sail, and each one has been uniquely different. By having a flow or process of how content is discovered, created, and marketed to a client, it makes for a more professional presentation. As I looked at the GoPro website and product information, it gave a professional appearance. It's content had images, video, animation, and text. The construction and deliverable message to the consumer was clean, crisp, and inviting. This is what I hope to learn in this class, Content-Strategy-Development-Marketing.
